As the next step in the merger of Teton Bancshares Inc. and First Security Bank, Teton Banks will be rebranded under the First Security Bank name at the end October.

The banks share common roots, both founded in Montana in the early 1900s. First Security Bank opened for business in Bozeman in 1919. Teton Banks’ charter goes back to 1909, with nearly 100 years of common family ownership. Customers, employees, and local communities, will benefit from merged systems. These improvements will be realized through mobile banking and other technology enhancements, career growth opportunities and community investment.

The combination will also provide convenient service for producers throughout the Golden Triangle. First Security Bank’s Loan Production Offices in Havre and Chester, and a full-service branch in Fort Benton, couple with Teton Banks’ locations in Fairfield, Choteau and the Sun River Valley to provide unmatched coverage and expertise of the area. Additional First Security Bank locations include Bozeman, Belgrade, West Yellowstone, Big Sky and Three Forks.
