The first Fairfield Turkey Bowl is planned for Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, at 9 a.m. at the Fairfield High School football field.

The adult flag football game is sponsored by the Fairfield Youth Football program and Montana Valley Irrigation with the proceeds to benefit the Fairfield Food Pantry.

Organizers invite area residents to relive the good old football days. “It is a perfect way to work up that Thanksgiving appetite and raise money for the local food pantry,” said Chris Music, organizer of the game. There is a $20 entry fee per player. Participants must be 18 or older. Teams will be drafted once they know how many will be playing. The game will be held rain, snow or shine.
