Looking ahead to the new year and wanting to get involved in your community? A new Emergency Medical Technician course will be offered in Teton County beginning in January.

Depending upon the attendees, the classes may will be offered both in-person and virtually. Teton County Emergency Medical Services Coordinator Deb Coverdell said that because of COVID-19 health concerns, the last class was held virtually with the in-person portion at the conclusion. No dates or times for the class in 2021 have been set. She encourages residents throughout the county who are interested to contact her with questions. Additional help is especially needed in the Dutton and Power areas.

Anyone interested in taking the course can contact Coverdell at 590-3748 to sign up or to receive additional information. Scholarships are available to help with the cost of the course.
