Nov. 26 — 4:05 p.m., deputy assisted a resident from a Choteau retirement home who was on the Choteau Public Schools playground back to his home.

— 5:49 p.m., deputy checked the welfare of the driver of a vehicle parked off U.S. Highway 89.

Nov. 27 — 3:39 p.m., deputies responded to an altercation at a residence in Power and arrested one person.

Nov. 28 — 7:26 a.m., motorist reported a dead deer on U.S. Highway 89 near Bynum.

— 8:44 a.m., hospice nurse reported a death from natural causes at 311 11th Ave. N.E., Choteau.

— 12:07 p.m., hunter reported being followed by two individuals while hunting with his son on Secondary Highway 221.

— 5:32 p.m., motorist reported hitting a deer near Choteau on U.S. Highway 89.

— 5:38 p.m., deputy made a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 89 and arrested the driver on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Nov. 30 — 12:43 a.m., Choteau ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 816 Fourth St. N.W. and transported a patient to Benefis Teton Medical Center in Choteau.

— 3:17 p.m., Choteau and Fairfield volunteer fire departments and the Choteau ambulance responded to a shed fire in Choteau at 307 13th Ave. N.E.

— 4:26 p.m., deputy provided an agency assist on a welfare check in Choteau.

— 4:52 p.m., Power ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 1451 Highway 431 and transported a patient to Benefis in Great Falls.

— 9:14 p.m., Choteau VFD responded to a flare up at the shed fire at 307 13th Ave. N.E.

Dec. 1 — 9:22 a.m., Montana Highway Patrol, Fairfield RVFD and Fairfield ambulance responded to a single-vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 89. The driver refused transport by ambulance.

— 2:45 p.m., dispatch notified the owner that his goats were loose on Secondary Highway 219 causing traffic concerns.

— 7:21 p.m., Sheriff’s Office assisted with a welfare check in Choteau.

— 9:40 p.m., deputy reported an unlocked door on a Choteau business.

From Nov. 26-Dec. 1, the Sheriff’s Office issued two citations for speeding and warnings for speeding, an improperly working taillight, improper stop, non-working headlight, expired registration and making an improper pass.
