A public hearing will be held March 12 at 5 p.m. at the Power Senior Citizens Center to gather comments for a proposed application to the Montana Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program to upgrade the infrastructure of the Power-Teton County Water and Sewer District.

The hearing was first scheduled for Feb. 5 but was changed due to weather and key individuals unable to attend due to illness.

The proposed project consists of drilling and installing shallow wells to replace the current source water system.

During the public hearing, the proposed project will be explained, including the estimated budget, sources of funding and the impact to the users.

Public comment will be taken from the presentation.

Comments may also be submitted in writing by 5 p.m. on. March 12.
