Jan. 5 — 6:37 a.m., Fairfield ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 424 Seventh Ave. N.W. and transported a patient to Benefis Teton Medical Center in Choteau.
— 8:54 a.m., Choteau resident reported an injured deer in the ditch along U.S. Highway 89.
— 3:23 p.m., deputy visited with a Power motorist who had a question.
— 6:51 p.m., Fairfield ambulance was requested for a possible emergency at 245 Birdtail Road and was cancelled before responding.
Jan. 6 — 2:21 a.m., deputy stopped a motorist by the courthouse and gave the driver a warning.
— 2:47 p.m., Fairfield resident asked that an information call be started.
— 6:20 p.m., Power Volunteer Fire Department and ambulance along with Vaughn fire department responded to a chimney fire at 2 Gettel Road.
Jan. 7 — 6:25 a.m., Sheriff’s Office provided an agency assist in locating an individual wanted on an arrest warrant.
— 8:51 a.m., deputy investigated a report of a grain truck hitting the Teton River Bridge on Secondary Highway 221 and not reporting or stopping at the accident site.
— 9:38 a.m., Choteau resident requested assistance with a custodial plan.
— 2:51 p.m., Dutton resident reported a motorist traveling southbound on Interstate 15 who lost a tire that resulted in the tire hitting and landing on the roof of a house on the bypass road. Montana Highway Patrol was notified of the incident.
— 4:56 p.m., Choteau ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 605 Third St. N.E. and transported a patient to BTMC.
— 9:59 p.m., deputy assisted with a spousal dispute in Choteau.
Jan. 8 — 9:49 a.m., Fairfield ambulance crew assisted a patient at 2244 U.S. Highway 89. The patient refused transport.
— 4:06 p.m., Fairfield resident spoke with dispatch concerning the child abuse hotline.
Jan. 9 — 4:48 a.m., Lewis and Clark County requested an agency assist by Fairfield ambulance to respond to a medical emergency at 6590 South Tamarack Road. The ambulance stood down before arrival as Augusta was able to get a crew together to take the call.
— 11:36 a.m., Power ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 982 24th Lane N.E. and transported a patient to Benefis in Great Falls.
— 5:06 p.m., Dutton VFD and ambulance responded to a vehicle fire that was originally reported at the Collins exit. Upon discovering the vehicle was located at the Gordon exit, dispatch transferred the call to Cascade County.
— 5:18 p.m., Fairfield resident reported a vehicle parked beside the road with the driver slumped over the wheel.
— 11:09 p.m., Choteau resident came to the Sheriff’s Office for court-mandated drug and alcohol testing.
Jan. 10 — 1:24 p.m., deputy investigated a possible identity theft.
— 5:57 p.m., Power resident requested the Sheriff’s Office do a welfare check on an elderly female.
— 6:34 p.m., Fairfield ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 981 County Line Road and transported a patient to Benefis.
– 9:17 p.m., Fairfield resident reported finding drug paraphernalia.
Jan. 11 — 9:48 a.m., Fairfield resident reported a possible medical situation but cancelled the ambulance before it was dispatched.
— 10:17 a.m., Choteau resident reported a vehicle speeding up and down Fifth Avenue Southwest.
— 10:24 a.m., Choteau resident reported someone was attempting to enter her house
— 10:37 a.m., deputy investigated report by a Dutton resident that a car trailer was hit and damaged.
— 1:31 p.m., Choteau fire chief requested the Choteau VFD be paged out to help the city break up ice on Spring Creek.
From Jan 5-11, deputies issued five warnings for speeding, three warnings for equipment violation, one for failure to stop at a stop sign and one for operation of a motor vehicle without properly working taillights.
