The Pondera Arts Council will offer laughter during the Conrad Christmas Stroll and offer trip-of-the-month raffle tickets to be drawn each month.

The council will present Tom & Jerry’s Winter Wackiness during the Conrad Christmas Stroll from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6.

All are invited to stop, warm up, enjoy a few minutes of laughter and watch as many cartoons as they wish. A small popcorn is free to everyone who stops by.

The Pondera Arts Council trip-of-the-month raffle tickets are also available. A raffle brochure/entry form can be downloaded from, or picked up by contacting any PAC board member or visiting various businesses around town. Proceeds from the trip of the month help pay off the new addition to the Orpheum. The drawings are held at the monthly board meeting with two tickets being drawn; the first ticket wins the trip of the month and the second ticket wins $200. All tickets go back in for more chances to win. A trip was awarded to Victoria, British Columbia for November. One more drawing is scheduled for 2019 and in 2020, the trip of the month raffle will be drawn on Jan. 14, 2020.

The board reminds the public that the Orpheum Theatre can be rented for private events. Have your own private movie showing, birthday party, anniversary gathering, marriage proposal, recital, whatever. Go to for more information.

The public is welcome to attend the monthly board meeting on the second Tuesday of the month in the new addition of the Orpheum at 11:30 a.m. The next meeting is Dec. 10.
