Sept. 26 — 8 a.m., motorist reported cows on U.S. Highway 287 near Seven Mile Hill causing a traffic concern.

— 11:23 a.m., Sheriff’s Office was notified of a potential theft from the donation receptacle behind the Choteau Senior Citizens Center.

— 1:42 p.m., Power resident reported her minor son left home on his dirt bike.

— 3:40 p.m., motorist on Interstate 15 reported a vehicle swerving.

— 4:07 p.m., deputy assisted with a domestic dispute in Choteau.

— 7:13 p.m., motorist reported the cows were still out on U.S. Highway 287 near Seven Mile Hill.

— 7:55 p.m., deputy, Choteau ambulance and Montana Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on U.S. Highway 89. The driver refused transport by ambulance.

Sept. 27 — 8:53 a.m., Fairfield resident reported a gun being stolen.

— 1:28 p.m., Choteau resident reported straw bales taken from 950 Fifth Lane N.W.

— 3:55 p.m., Choteau resident reported an unwanted individual on her property. A deputy spoke with the individual.

— 5 p.m., dispatch alerted MHP of a suspicious vehicle on Interstate 15 near Power.

— 6:37 p.m., Choteau ambulance responded to a medical emergency at Teton Peak Assisted Living in Choteau and transported a patient to Benefis Teton Medical Center in Choteau.

— 8:56 p.m., Choteau ambulance transported a patient from BTMC to Benefis in Great Falls.

Sept. 28 — 6:51 a.m., Choteau ambulance and MHP responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on U.S. Highway 89 and Sixth Lane. Ambulance transported one patient to BTMC.

— 9:03 a.m., Dutton ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 108 W. Main and transported a patient to Benefis.

— 2:26 p.m., deputy assisted with a family matter at Choteau Public Schools.

— 9:40 p.m., deputy responded to a domestic dispute in Choteau. The Choteau ambulance was called with the patient refusing transport.

— 10:33 p.m., deputy checked on the welfare of a Fairfield man who could not be reached by his family.

Sept. 29 — 12:59 a.m., deputy assisted a man who had lost his wallet and keys while at a Choteau bar.

— 5:06 p.m., Sheriff’s Office was notified of a dispute between two men in Choteau and made contact with the individuals involved.

— 7:10 p.m., Fairfield resident reported a stolen vehicle.

— 10:41 p.m., Choteau resident reported suspicious activity at her neighbor’s house. All checked out to be okay.

Sept. 30 — 5:47 a.m., Choteau resident reported smelling smoke in her house when she woke up and while speaking with dispatch located the source of the smoke and declined the fire department responding.

— 8:38 a.m., Choteau ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 40 Sherman Lane and transported a patient to BTMC.

— 1:33 p.m., deputies responded to report of three individuals yelling and screaming in Choteau. The call resulted in one woman being arrested.

— 4:26 p.m., motorist reported hitting a deer on Secondary Highway 431 that resulted in no injuries or damage to her vehicle but the deer is injured and in the ditch.

— 5:58 p.m., Choteau resident reported overhearing a couple loudly arguing as they were driving down her street.

— 6:29 p.m., Choteau resident reported a vehicle driving down the road with a flat tire that was smoking and sparking.

— 9:44 p.m., Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department responded to a wildland fire off County Line Road and Second Lane Northeast.

— 9:47 p.m., Choteau ambulance crew provided a lift assist at 424 Seventh Ave. N.W.

Oct. 1 — 1:08 p.m., deputy spoke with the staff at a Choteau business regarding a couple of individuals who were causing issues.

—4:25 p.m., motorist on Secondary Highway 219 reported an argument he had with a man in which he felt threatened.

— 9:13 p.m., Fairfield ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 615 Fifth Ave. N. The patient refused transport upon arrival.

Oct. 2 — 10:40 a.m., deputy spoke with an individual who was sleeping in the Fairfield City Park.

— 3:52 p.m., deputy attempted to make contact with an individual at Eureka Laek who is wanted by the Sheriff’s Office.

— 6:51 p.m., Choteau resident spoke with Sheriff’s Office regarding potential vandalism.

— 7:50 p.m., Choteau resident spoke with Sheriff’s Office about a suspicious driver in the alley near their house.

From Sept. 26-Oct. 2, the Sheriff’s Office issued two citations and four warnings for speeding.
