March 4 — 5:22 a.m., Fairfield ambulance responded to medical emergency at 460 Secondary Highway 431. The patient refused transport upon arrival.
— 7:39 a.m., deputy assisted with unattended dog in Dutton.
— 11:13 p.m., motorist reported a road sign down on Fourth Road and Fourth Lane Northeast.
March 5 — 8:15 a.m., deputy executed a search warrant in Choteau.
— 12:18 p.m., deputy investigated report of a suspicious vehicle off Third Avenue South and Sixth Street South in Fairfield.
— 1:56 p.m., Fish, Wildlife and Parks responded to a badger causing a nuisance in Dutton.
— 3:30 p.m., Fairfield resident reported being scammed on eBay.
— 5:07 p.m., Choteau resident reported being bitten by a dog.
— 5:51 p.m., motorist on Interstate 15 reported apparently fell asleep and drifted off the road becoming stuck in the median. He requested a tow truck.
—6: 52p.m., Choteau Volunteer Fire Department and deputy responded to a vehicle fire at 214 Second Ave. N.W.
— 10:20 p.m., Fairfield ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 322 Fourth St. N. and transported a patient to Benefis.
March 6 — 2:54 p.m., Sheriff’s Office was asked to make a welfare check on a truck driver parked by the side of the road off Fifth Road and Fourth Lane Northeast of Fairfield.
— 7:31 a.m., Dutton ambulance transported a patient from 206 Third Ave. N.E. to Benefis.
— 11:40 a.m., private party made arrangements to pick up an impounded vehicle.
March 7 — 3:22 p.m., Fairfield ambulance transported a patient from 290 VanHorn St. to Benefis.
— 3:56 p.m., deputy checked on the welfare of a minor in Choteau.
— 7:15 p.m., Choteau resident reported an unwanted individual at her residence.
— 7:45 p.m., deputy assisted in a family issue that resulted in an arrest.
March 8 — 3 a.m., Fairfield ambulance transported a patient from 222 Lumis St. to Benefis.
— 10:42 a.m., Fairfield ambulance transported a patient from 615 Fifth Road N. to BTMC.
— 12:28 p.m., Choteau ambulance transported a patient from 805 Ninth St. N.W. to BTMC.
— 11:29 p.m., deputy arrested a man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol on U.S. Highway 287.
March 9 — 9:06 a.m., Choteau ambulance responded to a medical emergency at 309 10th Ave. N.E., but the patient refused transport.
— 3:02 p.m., Choteau resident reported someone had trespassed on private property.
— 4:04 p.m., motorist reported driving through the fence near the baseball fields in Choteau.
— 7:12 p.m., motorist reported hitting a deer.
From March 3-9, two citations were issued for speeding and one for driving with a suspended license, along with six warnings for speeding, two for improperly working headlights and taillights and stop sign violation and one each for not using a turn signal and improperly working trailer lights.
