LEGAL NOTICE. Nomination Petitions for one position in “Area 1”, one position in “Area 2” and one position in “Area 3” with the Teton Conservation District Board are available at the Teton County Office of Clerk and Recorder or Teton Conservation District office. To determine if you are a registered voter in these areas, please inquire at the Clerk and Recorder’s Office or the Teton Conservation District office for boundary description. Nomination Petitions and Oath of Candidacy MUST be filed in the Office of the Clerk and Recorder by March 9, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. IF NO PETITIONS ARE FILED, AN ELECTION IS NOT REQUIRED! The governing body of the District will APPOINT to fill the vacancies. If there is only one (1) nominee for each position, it is not necessary to hold an election and the governing body will declare elected by acclamation the candidates who filed a nominating petition for each position. A Supervisor, within the District, must be elected from among the registered electors qualified to vote at the primary federal election on June 2, 2020.
