TUESDAY, SEPT. 21

Choteau City Council

The Choteau City Council will meet Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the city office. Tentative agenda includes: approval of minutes of the previous meeting; approval of council member requests to be out of state; review of reports on law enforcement, city court, public works, finances and mayor and council. THURSDAY, SEPT. 23

CAPA

The Choteau Area Port Authority will meet Sept. 23 via Zoom at 5:30 p.m. Agenda items include: approval of the June meeting minutes, financial report, approval of invoices, update on state and federal business assistance programs, review of five applicants for the community coordinator position with action on next steps, update on Montana Economic Developers Association grants and projects including branding and marketing, interactive trails map, MEDA mini-grants, Land and Water Conservation Fund grant applications, and events/summer activities report, community roundtable fall meeting, housing shortage committee follow-up, childcare committee follow-up, meat processing plants follow-up, consideration of insurance for the board and officer elections.

The Teton Antique Steam and Gas Association will meet Sept. 26 at 2 p.m. at the Choteau Depot meeting room.

MONDAY, SEPT. 27

Drivers Exam Station

The Choteau Driver Exam Station will be open Sept. 27 from 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Teton County Courthouse. Appointments are now needed. Call 1-866-450-8034 or go online to www.dojmt.gov/driving.

DB School Board

USRW Team

The Upper Sun River Wildlife Team will meet in Augusta on Sept. 28 at the Augusta Fire Hall. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. with an update on the Statewide Moose Study, followed by a presentation on noxious weed management and a discussion on the Fish, Wildlife and Parks season setting process.
